Sara has extensive experience in cross-border due diligence, having managed or researched hundreds of background checks all over the world for leading hedge funds, executive search firms, and for activist investors and public companies on both sides of proxy fights.

Prior to joining Forward Risk, Sara worked for eight years at the Mintz Group in New York and London, where she led U.S. research and training for an international team. She started her career on the assignment desk for NY1 News, the local TV news station in New York City, and also worked as an web editor and reporter on the digital desks of CBS News and NBC News. While at New York University, Sara was a news editor for the student-run newspaper and was an investigative research intern at the Village Voice.
